Sample work for transformation project located in Dumbo Brooklyn. Within this project we were tasked as Architects/Designers to create a building that will serve the neighborhood's needs.
I see in this model you have an extended area. I want to ask if the white/grey stays for glass. I think this would be suitable, while the red can stay for metal in such a high tech function as you have.
The functions are OK, but I am looking forward to have them analysed as different spaces in colour as you did for the analysis of examples.
Thanks for your advice Maria, Yes this is exactly as it represents, the red is for where light need to be controlled as well as to represent areas which needs to be private such that the material Metal is a perfect suit thank you. The white/gray is where needs to be public and light to pour in and so it is represent in such colors, so glass is the best material suited. again thank you for that insight. I cant wait to use the advice given.
Glad I can help :) The metal can be two kind of: either the reflective metal as at Libeskind, or red metal simulating rost as at one of the buildings of the WU campus in Vienna You can see it here: http://www.wu.ac.at/campus/architecture/ the one before the last.
